General Mistakes on a Blog Website

Blogs are being common now a days and many people are creating their own blog websites because blogs are good resource of communication and to earn money. Blog website is considered as the home of all the blog entries.

One of the usual mistake is that bloggers do when creating a blog website is not putting enough information about the author. If company websites have their “about us” page, then the bloggers must have their “about me” page. Due to putting “about me” page many knowledgeable persons can know that who is the author of the blog and what makes him/her credible in all the opinions he/she has written. Another mistake most people do is not inserting the owner’s photo. Some say that photos are not important for getting higher margin of the readers but it can be more attractive or more gainable for the author or owner if photo is inserted on the blog sites. It shows your attraction to the readers and be more comfortable with your readers. If the goal is to have personal impression and to connect more effectively with readers, then having photo is important.

Another mistake is that non-descriptive titles are being created by some bloggers on their posts. The title should say about the general idea of the blog and not just making a sense of surprise for the reader. Also, the links provided by some bloggers are sometimes anonymous. They do not label where the links will lead the reader. Another mistake is that some bloggers only use the calendars as their navigation. This should not be the case since the blog entries themselves can be used to navigate to other related articles. This can be done through linking or suggesting to readers.

If such mistakes will be avoided so, bloggers can certainly create better blog websites that readers will appreciate more and popularity of your blog too. To fascinate the readers and make them enthusiastic a blog should be very attractive. It should contain the photography of the blogger and introductory page must be annexed to the blog.
